Each Take Charge Cat joins the team for a variety of reasons and has unique experiences while presenting in the schools and participating in the Arizona Financial Face-Off. The Take Charge Cats were asked why they joined the team, if their experiences have met their expectations, and what they enjoyed most about being a Take Charge Cat.

Why did you join the Take Charge Cats?
I was interested in what the organization does.

Has your experience as a Take Charge Cat met your expectations?
It has exceeded my expectations! It was such a rewarding experience and I met such amazing people.

What have you enjoyed most about being a Take Charge Cat?
Being able to teach young people about personal finance because I never got the opportunity to learn that.

I joined Take Charge Cats to gain public speaking skills and to learn more about financial literacy.

Yes, I have presented in many different settings to various demographics and audiences.

What have you enjoyed most about being a Take Charge Cat?
I enjoyed Arizona Financial Face-Off the most, because it is great seeing all of our hard work come together.

Why did you join the Take Charge Cats?
I joined Take Charge Cats to learn more about personal finance and to be able to help others learn about personal finance within the community.

Has your experience as a Take Charge Cat met your expectations?
Yes, I have been able to get closer to Tucson and have been able to make a positive impact.

What have you enjoyed most about being a Take Charge Cat?
It has been fun to become more familiar with the community in Tucson, rather than just the UA campus.
