Superb presentations skills, the ability to connect with diverse audiences, a flexible schedule, impeccable time management (ability to be on time and fulfill commitments) strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Be: attentive to details, creative, knowledgeable about personal finance curriculum, charismatic/outgoing.
Have experience: working on a team, managing social media profiles, coordinating events, improvising.
Every Take Charge Cat is responsible for presenting personal finance workshops to college students and students in grades 6 – 12 in the Tucson schools and community. In addition, Take Charge Cat ambassadors will contribute to the workings of the team by taking on additional administrative duties, as needed, helping to coordinate the Arizona Financial Faceoff, and covering for other team-members whenever possible.
Arizona Financial Face-Off– Interested Take Charge Cats will assist with planning, preparing, and executing this annual financial competition that takes place in April.
Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Arizona; hiring preference will be given to rising sophomores and juniors. Availability for Monday night scheduling meetings is required (typically 7-9 p.m.). Reliable access to a personal vehicle is strongly encouraged (but not required).
